We will be discussing Yes, Chef by Marcus Samelsson. Born in Ethiopia and adopted by a Swedish family where he learned to cook at his Grandma's side. After training to be a chef in Europe (wow, it is hard), Marcus landed in the U.S. where he became a renowned chef with his own restaurant.
Our discussions are casual and informal. Come even if you didn't read or finish the book. We will have some Swedish treats.
