We love to read and chat.
This month we will be discussing News of the World by Paulette Jiles at the home of Sharon Davarn. From NY Times Book Review “News of the World” is a narrow but exquisite book about the joys of freedom... ; the discovery of unexpected, proprietary love between two people who have never experienced anything like it; pure adventure in the wilds of an untamed Texas; and the reconciling of vastly different cultures .... That’s a lot to pack into a short (213 pages), vigorous volume, but Ms. Jiles is capable of saying a lot in few words."
Please RSVP to Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org or 970.596.9970
At our meeting we will also set up our reading list for the rest of the year, please send your book suggestions to Wendy email@example.com
Our club is casual and informal. Please come even if you have not read or finished the book. We always have fun.
The Daytime Book Club meets the first Tues. of every month at a member's home from 10am- 12:00. If you would like to join our book club or have any questions, please contact Wendy Subrin at
